Welcome to our NEWSLETTER, the new communication channel of UK Student Solutions (UKSS)
Every month, we will keep you up to date with UKSS activities, practical tips, articles, and study abroad opportunities in this space. Our aim is to keep closer to our students. We want to inform our readers and help them find alternatives and possibilities in their journey as students or professionals.
Despite the difficulties during 2020, also reflected in the Education industry, and the slow restart of face-to-face classes at educational institutions in 2021, UKSS has confirmed new partnerships with educational institutions in and outside the UK. This has increased our range of study options significantly for all those who come to us needing professional support to get started in their academic life abroad.

The UK schools and universities are open for business!
1. KINGS OLYMPIAD “CHANGING LIVES” SCHOLARSHIPS: The Results are Out!
A big Thank You to the nearly 1500 students from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe that took part in the event promoted by Kings Education and UKSS. The aim was to award students from PALOP (Portuguese-Speaking African) countries with partial scholarships for studies in the UK – to attend Pre-University (Foundation) courses at The Kings Schools in London, Brighton, Bournemouth or Oxford. Congrats to all winners! Read the story, check what happened, and meet the winners.

2. ONCAMPUS – What do you think about doing your Foundation or Pre-Masters in a university campus?
This is a popular choice, especially for mature students, who plan to pursue a postgraduate degree in the United Kingdom.ONCAMPUS Global offers exclusive discounts on tuition fees to all applicants referred by UK Student Solutions for this year. 3. There is life outside London!
The favourite destination for many international students coming to the UK is London, and not without reason. But there are good reasons to consider living and studying outside the capital. Most of the top universities are outside London. In addition, the smaller cities are charming, friendly, have an excellent education, and a lower cost of living – which is one of the most critical factors in planning your course and trip, as we know. There are beach towns, mountain towns, industrial towns, historic towns, university towns – a world of choice. Besides London partner schools, UK Student Solutions has partnered with schools in places like Bournemouth, Manchester, Oxford, Edinburgh, York, Brighton and others. If you want to go beyond the UK, we have English language options in Ireland and South Africa.

4. Scholarships Abroad? I need one! What can I do?
Keep an eye on our social networks! We will soon launch the UKSS & LAL “Scholarship Journey” programme with our partner school in Cape Town. (LAL English Centre). Developed with the Portuguese-speaking African students in mind but open to all, you won’t find this programme anywhere else!
There will be an online event explaining how to get aboard on the journey towards your dream scholarship. We will announce the dates in advance. Follow our Facebook or LinkedIn pages (if you haven’t done it yet) so you won’t miss this opportunity.
5. Scholarship of the Month:
The month’s highlight is the Schwarzman Scholars– applications are open until 21 September (make a note in your diary!). This is one of the most prestigious Business Masters programmes globally, and the selection process for the full scholarship is rigorous. Without a doubt, it will be a defining moment in the career of any candidate selected. The programme takes place in China, with all expenses included; however, all courses are taught in English and their syllabus are centred on Leadership.
